Boreas was found abandoned and starving in Tucson, AZ. He was rescued and cared for but accidentally became imprinted. Swainson's Hawks spend summers in North America and winters in South America. They can easily be confused with the Red-Tailed Hawk, but a great way to tell them apart is the rusty bib and the "light arm with dark feathers." | |
